I remeber seeing this vessel in your coverage of Delfsail and thought 'those are strange sail booms'. I couldn't really couldn't make out much detail then. Thanks for the close-up. I still can't work out how they operate, though! However, I thought 'AMETHYST CLASSIC' was green, but it is dull compared to 'ECOLUTION'.

Have we? Let's see what is here. It is June, the shadows are longish, the cabin curtains are still drawn, therefore passenegers are still abed. The sky has lost its reddish sunrise tint, so it is not early early, but early. So the answer is NO!

Nou nou, wat een kwaliteit! Het foutje betrof dus de blooper vd cameraman? 1. was geen gediplomeerde, dat was al duidelijk 2. maar 1 hebben getuigt ook niet v professionalisme 3. ook al is er een draaiboek en is het nog niet zo laat: altijd een cam een totaaltje laten registreren (van statief uiteraard, vgns mij ook niet in gebruik)

I puzzled over the strange shape above the level of HYDROGRAAF's bridge going under the road bridge. It was only at Gerrit Krolbrug I realised it was the ship's hooter showing as the funnel was laid back. It would be nice if you could capture the crew lowering that funnel and the masts.

How odd to see a 20-gun Spanish galleon coming into a harbour without a single inch (2.4cm) of canvas unfurled. Just as well that the gunports are all except one closed. That HOLLAND has a very pleasing silhouette.

Perhaps a suitable sub-title could have been 'All the Usual Suspects'. I remember some form the last coverage you did. However, the class spotting was at 25:00, that magnificent example of the Prinsenvlag. I was unable to capture the vessel's name, but I assume it is a replica of a vessel from the era of that flag. There was too much activity to comment on the others. The sight of all those sailing vessels was overwhelming.

I can't remember the last vessel I saw with those large ventilation ducts. I think it waqs the 1947-built RMS Caronia of the Cunard Line. They had big grab handles on the sides and could be rotated to provide a measure of forced ventilation to the lower decks. And the fold-over funnel!

Prachtig schip. Wat me verbaasde: helemaal achterop, in een positie vanwaar de stuurman in het geheel niet vooruit kan kijken, bevindt zich een groot stuurwiel. Raadseltje…
